Welcome to 2017… Now let’s go back in time to the 1970s and revisit two “Women in Prison” films that fall across a very strange, and fascinating spectrum of the subgenre, as seen in the made for television movie.
In short… whoo-hoo! We’re talking the classic, controversial and traumatizing telefilm Born Innocent (1974), and the campy should-be classic Women in Chains (1972). If you have something to say about these films, the WiP genre on the small screen, or if you just want to chat about TV movies in general, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you. We’re recording on January 18th, so if you could get your feedback in by then, it would be most appreciated! See you soon!
